1. Hold the device with the hand opposite your weak leg and with the longer side of the cradle facing inward;

2. Bring the device forward along with the foot of the weak leg, placing all the weight on the stronger leg;

3. When walking, be careful not to place the device too close to the body to avoid tripping over one end, or too far away to avoid imbalance;

4. If used on stairs, check that the dimensions of the step are sufficient to contain the base of the appliance.
